Your Mission:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines, currently based on Power BI, with an intention to migrate to open-source equivalents.
• Collaborate with data science and analytics teams to understand data needs and provide appropriate technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and cleaning processes.
• Optimize the performance of data management systems and queries.
• Contribute to the implementation and improvement of data visualization tools.
• Document data processes and architectures.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery.
• Experience with Prefect for workflow orchestration.
• Initial experience with Apache Iceberg.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and interest in open-source alternatives.
• Programming skills, particularly in Python and SQL.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in project management.

Qualifications:

• Degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• GCP certifications would be a plus.
